Since the show’s debut in 2015, many islanders have come out and shared their stories with plastic surgery.
From the likes of Megan Barton-Hanson, Laura Anderson, Tom Powell and Ellie Brown sharing their stories, there has been an influx of comfort surrounding the subject, and the contestants in recent years continue to shift the stigma.
This year’s bunch are no different. Although not all of the stars have spoken on the subject so far, we thought it would be great to reflect on the stars who have –and some of the stars on the list may surprise you!

Tasha said: “I only have had 0.5ml lip filler. Apart from that, nothing else…
“We all have insecurities, I have had many thoughts that if I get certain cosmetics would I book more jobs etc.? But I’m happy with the way I look & I don’t judge people who do get cosmetics because it’s purely their choice and their happiness.”

“Other than keeping up with my normal skincare routine, I have had cosmetics before – I have had lip fillers in the past.
“I’m all for cosmetic surgery if it’s safe and it makes you feel happy.
In the same breath, I feel like everybody should feel happy and confident in their skin. Whatever makes you happy. If it’s safe and it feels good, why not?”

Speaking of the procedure, Andrew said: “It was surgery on my chest, it was a day procedure to take out glands that were in my chest.
“It was something that I had always wanted to do and I thought it was something I may as well do before I come on the show.
“It was a cosmetic procedure, it wasn’t something I needed to do, I just wanted to do it.”
