Emily is a junior doctor training with Dr. John to become a cosmetic surgeon. She is originally from sunny South Africa and graduated with her medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
She went on to practice in casualty, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology in a district hospital on the outskirts of Johannesburg. While preparing to immigrate to the UK, Emily worked as a medical editor and writer in the field of scientific communications, working with medical research specialists to deliver world class publications for a range of medical journals.
More recently, Emily worked as a junior doctor in the medical and surgical departments at a university hospital in Glasgow.
When she is not working with Dr. John, you will find Emily reading voraciously or playing a variety of musical instruments. While obtaining her medical degree, Emily gave private music lessons and ran a high school choir. She also spent time volunteering in underprivileged areas in South Africa, providing tutoring services and running an outreach choir.
Emily is a dedicated and professional medical doctor with a passion for cosmetic surgery. Her top priority is building a good rapport with patients and providing excellence in care.
